“The language of God is pure silence. Everything else is poor translation.”

Hengameh Ebrahimi, DAOM, L.Ac, is a Doctor of Acupuncture and Traditional Oriental Medicine and a board Certified Acupuncturist in the state of California, and a Diplomate of National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. (NCCAOM)

She received her Doctoral Degree from Emperor’s College of Traditional Oriental Medicine in Santa Monica, California. (DAOM), (2018)

She received her Master’s degree from Yo San University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Los Angeles, California. (2015).

Prior to studying Oriental Medicine and Acupuncture, she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering. (2001)

Years later, she came across Traditional Chinese Medicine and immediately fell in love with its poetry and precision. It satisfied the critical thinking she had cultivated as an engineer and fulfilled her admiration for the intelligence of the universe, science, and philosophy. Ever since she has been a passionate student, learning from phenomenal mentors with various approaches, backgrounds and perspectives who enrich her appreciation for this medicine on a daily basis.

She is fascinated by the human potential to restore the integrity of their life force, mind, body, and psyche regardless of how fragmented they may feel or what diagnoses the individual may have received.

This fascination led her to specialize in Integrative-Psychosomatic (mind-body) approach for improved clinical outcomes.

She has been studying in-depth Jungian psychology and became a certified Jungian coach in the process to explore the subconscious mind; the missing piece of the puzzle in integrating mind and body.

Hengameh treasures every single experience, endeavor, encounter, and presence along the way that carved her in multiple dimensions and prepared her to realize her essence and acknowledge the light in the individuals she works with.

Hengameh’s practice is an immense gratitude for life in all its forms.
